Yesterday I offically started work for the first time in my life...I was so gan jiong man...but i believed dat everything will be ok becos i got pray beforehand...haha..anyways, i reached harbour front mrt at bout three plus, took some time to find my way to a bus stop dat got bus dat can bring mi in into sentosa...den the bus will bring mi to the place when i actually sign in, get my uniform and change into it...after dat mus wait for another bus to take mi to the hotel lor...like very ma fan hor...i reached the hotel at bout 4.15 when i was suppose to reach at 5...so i was kinda early...i went to find moi senior...haha...she's at front desk so not hard to find...den she bring mi go find my manager...but i come too early le...so there's nth for mi to do lor...so sadz..in the end, i mus wait until 5 den i follow a guy call Ryan...he do wad i also follow lor...when i first saw him, he realli dun look like 17 lor! he's suppose to be the same age as mi but he looked like 23 to me? mature looking i guess...anyways, the beginning of the job quite easy la...move chairs here and there onli...but i already had blisters on my leg before i started working becos of the shoe!! painful sia...okok...after organising a table at one of the banquet room, we moved to the next room called the sambal room...haha...funny name...anyways, also did the same thing la...must carry big tables and chairs lor...and Ryan can carry those tables one by one on his back...like super fit sia...picking up the table alone abit of prob for mi liaos...finally aft all the arranging of tables and chairs, i follow ryan to another manager and its time to serve...beforehand got briefing la...i wun go into detail abt dat...soon after...the guests started arriving...i see dem i so gan jiong ar...but lucky got Ryan around..he quickly go around asking ppl for wad they wan for their drinks while i stood there like an idiot...i realli dunno wadz to do lor...den when ppl tell mi dat they wan some drinks, i went to the bar to get it...but i was so so afraid dat i'll spill the drinks or smthing...esp when mus open the door with one hand and making sure u dun spill the drink on the other hand...but i think i slowly got used to it le ba...den the serving of the food and everything is ok la...but out of all the six waiters there, onli mi stand till leg pain...i so weak...haha...den got one time, a guy wanted a glass of ice water...den mus go and get goblet...and i dunno where it is mah..so ask this guy call Yushoff to help mi take...he take gimme den i pour ice water into it and give to the guest le...a while later, the guest called mi back and said, "Thanks for the creativity but i dun appreciate it". den i looked at the glass got a lip stick mark lor! i was like...shyt...die liaos...den i quickly apologise and get a new cup for him...of cos i double checked first...from den on i double check every cup i take ar...den i tell Yushoff they all and they jus kept laughing...buay tahan dem sia...all surprise dat cup got lipstick mark...esp when its a new one...i so suay ar...i also made another mistake la...when a guest wan fish but i gave him steak...sigh...so i made 2 tupid mistakes lor...aft the guest when back, clear up the place and mus put the tables in a board room position...aft dat manager lemme go home liaos...hahs...he say i tired le...and i think i realli am...out of the blue also got headache...so i finish work at 10...but mus wait for the bus to bring mi to the changing area....after change hao le and everything still mus wait for another bus to bring mi back to mrt...den on and on la....in the end, i reached home at midnight...2 hrs to get home ar...so sianz...mus find ppl pei mi liaos...or else i will die...hahas...but i think the job quite nice la...becos my senior say if u can survive the banquet department, there wont be any department dat u cannot survive in the hotel industry...and since i intend to study hospitality, i think i wanna stay on...haha..i also learn alot from the xperience...but i'm still quite a blur head la...anyways, i think dats all bout work le la...my leg still super pain...sighs....okok..gotta go...mayb update later..take care and God bless!
